Okay, I'm going to give this a try. Since I am a technology coordinator by day and a potter by night, I'm going to use this space to share my passion for pottery with others and as a way to record pottery information for myself.

It IS a nice family picture, and a nice start! I appreciate the way you're linking this exploration to your passion for pottery and finding a way to make it useful. Some people find it helpful---or even verging on a guilty pleasure---to create a grounding space/place like this. Some use a blog for centering and organizing their thoughts about their creative work. It's like a digital retreat from daily tasks and ephemera where you have freedom to focus and create, or reflect on creating, or plan for creating, or. . . . It can even be simply a placeholder, a lifeline to keep heart, mind, and spirit afloat until such time as you can get back to the studio, the page, the stage, or wherever your passion resides.
Anyway. I'm impressed so far by the variety of different ways our group members are using their blogs. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on how the blogging process compares to your creative process as an artist.
